Homeland Driving School - Teen Driver's Education Training

 - What you will learn - Classroom & Behind the Wheel

  •   Classroom: Four Sessions totaling 30 Hours of Instruction:

Session 1:
   
Assessing and Managing Risk
     Knowing Yourself
     Handling social pressure

Session 2:
    
Rules of the Road
     Getting to know your car
     Starting, steering and stopping your car
     Basic driving skills

Session 3:
    
Turning & parking
     Driving environments
     Weather conditions
     Sharing the road
     Natural laws & driving
     Responding to emergencies

Session 4:
    
Buying a Car
     Car system & maintenance
     Planning a trip
     Getting ready for your test

  •     Behind the Wheel Instruction -
        Minimum of six hours with licensed driving instructor

    Starting and Stopping
    Steering
    Following Distance
    Right and Left Turns
    Crossing Intersections
    Changing Lanes
    Hill Driving and Parking
    U-Turns and Turnabouts
    Parallel and Angle Parking
    Freeway Entrance and Exit
    Night Driving
    Adverse Weather Conditions
    Practice Test

Behind the wheel instruction is by a DMV Certified mature and responsible Instructor.
Only one Student Driver with Instructor during behind the wheel instruction session.
